URJAA is working to increase young people’s participation in decision making process from community to national level. It provides capacity building training and raises awareness for youth on Sexual and Reproductive Health, Livelihood and Civic Participation. URJAA in partnership with Restless Development Nepal is implementing COVID-19 Prevention and Response project in R/Municipalities of Lalitpur and Kathmandu. The overall objective of the project is to aware young people and motivate to create social action on prevention and response of COVID-19.

Position: Programme Manager- 1 position
Major Responsibilities
•Lead to design, implement and monitoring of COVID-19 prevention and response intervention for quality control in coordination with Restless Development.
• Maintain effective and efficient coordination and collaboration with local government, r/municipality COVID-19 coordination committee, schools, health authorities and other relevant stakeholders in order to implement project activities smoothly
• Keep his/herself updated on new decisions/ provisions made by local and provincial government and ensure compliance with government rules and regulations while implementing the project
• Lead to develop monthly/quarterly plan and track the projects/programs milestone.
• Lead to implement all policies approved by the Board of Directors
• Prepare the annual plan and budget for approval by Board of Directors
• Set operational targets and standards for URJAA programs and administration including of the district offices and branch
• Organize MPAC visit/meeting and update the program/project’s status
• Oversee the organization’s financial transaction and ensure the functionality of internal control mechanisms.
• Represent URJAA on appropriate r/municipality, province and national forums
• Supervise/direct monitor actively the work of program officer ensuring timely deliverables and reporting
• Develop proposals and explore and raise funds from domestic and international sources for the implementation of URJAA’s strategy plan
Qualification, Experience and Skill
• Master degree with 5 years’ experience of managing multiple-projects
• Proven experience and knowledge on leading the local organization
• Prior experience of working with national/ international volunteers and taking leading role on project management
• Proven experience on liaison and coordination with local government authorities and NGOs working in youth sector.
• Good report writing skill in English is must.
• Strategic planning and management
• Financial management skills, fund raising skills including proposal writing and development
• Able to ride motor bike with valid driving license
Position: Programme Officer-1 position
Major Responsibilities
• Responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the COVID-19 Prevention and Response project and activities in coordination with/support of Programme Manager
• Responsible to develop monthly/quarterly plan and supervise/support Alumni Engagement Committee, Field Supervisor, Community Volunteers to ensure timely and quality delivery of project intervention.
• Monitor and keep well documentation ongoing and completed activities, success and challenges, case studies, compile the information and report to URJAA with specific information following the logical frame-work
• Set up standards and mechanisms for proper documentation and publication of IEC materials related to COVID-19 programme
• Lead to develop consolidated monthly/quarterly report and support to field supervisor to generate different reports through field visits, consultation, KII, FGD as per the requirement of URJAA.
• Develop and maintain appropriate linkages as well as liaise with local government, COVID-19 coordination committee, schools, health authorities, like minded organizations, networks and other key stakeholders for the synergy development.
• Lead to designing and delivering trainings/workshops/orientations and organize timely review meetings, workshops and debrief with stakeholders.
• Oversee the field level financial transaction and ensure that field supervisors adhere to finance policies and procedures.
Qualification, Experience and Skill
• Bachelor degree with 2 years’ experience of working with youths under community development programs/projects
• Prior experience of working with national/international volunteers
• Fluency in Nepali and English, working knowledge in Microsoft Office Package – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Good report writing skill in English is must.

Position: Field Supervisor -2 positions
Major Responsibility
• Work closely with Programme Officer for implementing project in assigned R/Municipality of Lalitpur/Kathmandu districts, Province 3 and assuring quality and timely delivery of programme
• Provide support to the community volunteers: personal welfare, health, safety, security, logistic and professional support whatever and whenever needed.
• Promote and maintain relationship with community and r/municipality level stakeholders for synergy development
• Support community volunteers on delivering different trainings, workshops and meetings at community level.
• Work closely with programme staffs to monitor expenditure by community volunteers and ensure it is kept within the budgeted amount
• Serve as a role model – personally embodying Urjaa’s mission and values, and strictly adhering to policies and procedures and ensuring volunteers to do the same
Qualification, Experience and Skill
• At least certificate level passed with at least one year experience of working in volunteering programme
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Fluency in Nepali and English
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Package – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Having two wheeler licenses will be an added advantage
• Able to ride motor bike with valid driving license
